Welcome to the Association
The Minnesota Association of Community Mental Health Programs (MACMHP)
is a statewide not-for-profit membership organization representing
community mental health and other service provider agencies throughout
the state. The Association advocates the interests of our membership
before the Governor, legislature and executive departments.
The Association is a leader in the planning and implementation of
community mental health services in Minnesota and across the nation
through our membership in the National Council for Community
Behavioral Healthcare. MACMHP is a pro-active advocate for increased
funding as well as innovative and expanded programs for
community-based providers. The input from members at monthly committee
meetings, retreats and annual strategic planning sessions is the
driving force behind MACMHP.
Our Mission
A non-profit organization providing leadership and services that
strengthen member agencies, improve service quality, and foster a
unified voice for service providers and clients.
Members . . .
MACMHP currently serves a growing membership base of not-for-profit
community mental health providers across the state.
The Association is strengthened by the members and in turn the members
are strengthened by the Association. The leadership and governance of
the Association comes from the member organizations who determine the
policies and priorities of the organization. The Board of Directors
helps plan and coordinate activities. Various on-going committees
study, recommend and implement strategies on specific mental health
program and policy issues. Our strength is our membership.
Our dedicated and competent staff, with expanded technical
capabilities, is very available to respond to the needs of our
membership.
If being involved in shaping the policies affecting mental health
providers across Minnesota and the nation appeals to you, call now and
join the organization that is making it happen.
